Neighborhood hop from Cedar Vale.

Picked up at your door and driven straight to a friend, a sitter, family or a brand-new home, with someone you named waiting to say hello.

How it works from Cedar Vale.

From your Cedar Vale door to family, friends or a sitter nearby.

The neighborhood hop is our everyday ride. You hand your dog or cat over at your door, we drive them straight to the next one, and the person you named takes it from there. No detours, no extra stops and no other passengers’ errands on the way.

Owners book it when the dog is spending the weekend with a friend, when the cat is heading to a sitter before a holiday, when grandparents are helping out for a few days, or on moving day, when the last thing anyone needs is a worried pet squeezed between boxes.

Before the day we agree both addresses, the time and who’s waiting at each end. We also ask how your pet likes to travel, so the crate or carrier, the comfort blanket and the hello at the door all suit them.

How the ride goes.

  1. Before

    Tell us the hop

Both addresses, the day, who hands over and who receives, and how your pet travels best.

  2. Pickup

    Hello at the door

We go through their bag with you and settle them into their crate, harness or carrier.

  3. On the road

    Straight over

A direct ride in their own secured space, with a blanket from home beside them.

  4. Arrival

    Into waiting arms

Handed to the person you named with their bag and notes, then a message to you.

Dogs and cats on the neighborhood hop

Dogs

  • A crate that fits them, or clipped in with a car-safe harness
  • On their lead before you open the door
  • A quick walk before pickup helps them settle

Cats

  • Their own closed carrier, the whole way
  • A blanket that smells like home inside
  • Handed over still in their carrier

If plans wobble on the day.

Friends run late and sitters swap shifts. If someone new will be opening the door, call us as soon as you know and give us their name and number. We only hand your pet to the person you’ve named, so a quick call keeps everything simple.

If nobody answers when we arrive, we call your named contact, then you. Your pet stays snug in their travel space while we sort it out together. We never leave a pet at an empty address.

Pickups in Cedar Vale.

A few things that help the hello at your door go smoothly.

  • Garden gates

Tell us which gate to use, and keep dogs on their lead or inside until we’re at the door.

  • School-run mornings

If your street gets busy, tell us. We’ll pick a time that keeps the hello calm.

  • One labeled bag

Pack their things in one bag with your number on it, so nothing gets left behind.

In their bag.

  • Lead and harness, or their carrier
  • A blanket or toy from home
  • Labeled food, if they’re staying over
  • A short note for whoever receives them
  • Your phone number on their bag

What we’ll ask you.

  1. Both addresses and where we can stop
  2. A name and number for each end
  3. How your pet usually travels
  4. The day and time of day you have in mind
