New to us, or not a fan of the car? We start with a chat about their carrier, past rides and what helps them feel brave.

Big garden dogs who rarely ride often start with a chat. We’ll plan it with you.
The first-timer chat happens before any ride. It’s for pets who are new to us, new to travel or find car rides hard. We talk with you about their crate or carrier, how they handle being picked up, how they’ve done in the car before and what helps them feel safe.
From there we plan their first ride together. It might be a short local hop first, a covered carrier for a shy cat, a slower hello at the door for a worried dog, or a ride at a quiet time of day.
Everything we learn goes into their ride notes, so every trip after starts the same calm way. And if we think a different kind of help would suit your pet better, we’ll tell you honestly.
First
Call or send a request. We ask about their travel history, their carrier and what helps them settle.
Then
Where to, which carrier or crate, the time of day and what the hello should look like.
Ride day
A calm hello, time to settle into their travel space and something familiar from home.
After
We tell you how it went and write down what helped, so next time starts the same way.

Most cats only see their carrier when something worrying is about to happen. Leave it in a room they love with the door open and a blanket inside, and drop in a treat now and then. By ride day it’s just another spot to curl up.
For dogs, a couple of tiny practice trips help: in the crate or harness, around the block and home again, with a treat at the end. If your vet has given you travel advice, tell us so we can plan around it.
A few things that help the hello at your door go smoothly.
Book their ride before the suitcases come out. Pets notice luggage, and a calm hello helps.
Pack food, bed and notes in one labeled bag so nothing gets left behind.
If you’ll already be away for the ride home, tell us who will be waiting.

Tell us who’s riding, where they’re headed and who’s waiting. We’ll plan the rest with you.
